The Inaugural Meeting
The weekend of March 11th 2006 might be remembered for some other reason (something to do with a hippy and his life-long love???) but for this particular page in history, lets also say that it was the birth of the Bear Council.
It was quickly identified that each of us would need a bear name that could easily describe us.
- Poppa bear - Marc Cheah (president)
- Pooh bear - Al McIntyre (vice-president)
- judgment bear - Lisa Jude
- ML bear - Chris McBride
- Big bear - Damian Collins
- care bear - Levin Kuhlmann
- dare bear - Della O'Kuhlmann
- salty bear - Scott Whitbread
- boozy bear - Allan Collins
For all future bear council meetings, when ever an item is up to be voted on, a bear like paw motion in the upward direction is to be used for a positive vote. A sideways bear like paw motion is to be used for a negative vote.
For future bear members, the easiest way to create your name is to:
- have had several alcoholic beverages
- using the letters of your name, describe your personality
- other bear members in the vicinity of this activity will then choose the name that best suits you
